"That guy needs a hug..."
It sounds a lot like the Wilhelm scream. Listen.
Today I was reading an article about 65 Great Protest Songs that, in a roundabout sorta way led me back to another amazing performance I saw on youtube a while back...
Some people thought it was Bruce Willis in disguise and not a homeless guy at all. I have to admit, after hearing the rumor I saw the resemblance too. After doing some more reading I found the documentary "Kareoke Man". His name is Super Bad Brad and he really is homeless. In the documentary he says there's nothing better than finding your favorite song playing on the radio...
Just saw this article today about how The Fifth Element is one of the best sci-fi movies of all time and I have to agree. It leaves out two of my fave scenes though.
The first is when Korben Dallas is at the check-in to the flight to Fhloston Paradise explaining that he and Leeloo are newly weds and Leeloo is babbling about her about her multipass. Korben final shouts, "YEAH! She KNOWS it's a multipass!!! Anyway, we're in love..." The timing of the line is perfect and I can't do it justice here, you'll just have to watch it.
Where exactly does one find a can of whoop-ass?
I just stumbled across this old internet story...
Turns out it is true.
She's pretty good and I think she is playing "Miserlou" in the first minute or so which caused me to find the following video...
Taimane gives Miserlou an interesting spin on the ukulele. Here's another imperfect Miserlou performance but has a nice energy. And finally, here is a silly version of the song...
The only explanation that makes sense at this point is that he is trying to be the worst president in history.
